In the Lviv region, they checked compliance with the requirements of motor vehicle legislation when releasing buses for service. They checked the work of the carriers Transportnyk and Trans-Ekipazh.
The inspections involved employees of the transport department of the Lviv Regional State Administration of Roads, employees of the road safety department of the Patrol Police in Lviv region, and inspectors of the state supervision department of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety.
During the joint raid, 25 vehicles were inspected and a number of deficiencies were recorded due to the inadequate technical and sanitary condition of vehicles providing passenger transportation services.
Drivers of road transport companies are required to undergo a daily medical examination before leaving the company, and the bus itself is checked by a mechanic before departure, which he makes a corresponding entry in the vehicle release log.
“As a result, we found vehicles of the carrier Transportnyk with a stencil of the bus route 176 Truskavets AC – Skhidnytsia, which, according to the current contract, should be serviced by the carrier TRANSITI LLC. In this regard, employees of the State Supervision Department in Lviv Region of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety drew up two reports on violations of Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine against Transportnyk. This is punishable by a fine of one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes,” said Orest Shulikovsky, Director of the Road Department of LOVA.
