Professional rescuers, together with local fire brigades, responded 9 times to eliminate the consequences of the weather
During the day on duty from 22 to 23 June, professional rescuers from Lviv Oblast, together with local fire brigades, were engaged 9 times to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.
In particular, rescuers cleared roads of fallen trees 6 times in Zhovtantsi village, Lviv district, Skhidnytsia village, Drohobych district, Boryslav town, Drohobych district, Volosyanka village, Stryi district, Kulykiv village, Lviv district, and Oglyadiv village, Chervonohrad district.
Rescuers also cut and removed trees that had fallen on residential buildings in the village of Pikulovychi, Lviv district, and in the village of Stare Selo, Lviv district.
And in Lviv, on Shyroka Street, the fire and rescue department cleared the exit from a shop where a tree had fallen and blocked the emergency exit. The shop assistant was inside.
