More than 245,000 people were registered as IDPs in Lviv Oblast: most of them in the previous day

The day was calm in the region – without threats of rocket attacks

Yesterday, January 28, another 58 people arrived in Lviv Oblast by two evacuation trains during the day. 585 people went to Przemyśl by three trains.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, reported this in the morning briefing.

“As of today, more than 245,000 people are registered as IDPs in the Unified Information Database in the Lviv region. The real number of forcibly displaced persons living in Lviv Oblast is approximately twice as large, as many people settled in the private sector and were not registered as IDPs,” said Maksym Kozytskyi.

The day before, a round table was held in Lviv Oblast on the protection of children’s rights under martial law. The event was attended by the Children’s Service of the Lviv OVA, representatives of institutional institutions, public organizations and foundations that take care of children’s rights. It was about advocating the interests of children, prospects for training social workers to work with children in wartime conditions, problems with returning children to their places of permanent residence.
