On April 24, at 16:31, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Mavkovychi on Luhova Street, Lviv district.
The fire broke out in a one-story brick residential building covered with slate, measuring 20×10 meters.
Rescuers from the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Horodok arrived at the scene.
During the exploration of the smoky house, they found the body of a dead man in one of the rooms. The victim was a man born in 1977.
At 16:43, firefighters localized the fire and eliminated it at 17:04.
Four firefighters and one unit of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting. The causes and circumstances of the fire are under investigation.
