At the Shehyni–Medyka border crossing, traffic in both directions may be slower until the end of June 2026. This was reported by Lviv Customs, citing information from the Polish side.
In particular, delays are possible for:
- lorry traffic exiting Poland;
- lorry traffic entering Poland;
- passenger vehicles exiting Poland;
- passenger vehicles entering Poland.
Disruptions to traffic are due to the replacement of the asphalt surface on the road lanes in Medyka on the Polish side of the border. The works began in April 2026 and are expected to last around 10 weeks, with completion scheduled for the end of June.
