Due to roadworks on the bus lane at the Shehyni–Medyka checkpoint, the departure of buses from Ukraine to the Republic of Poland is being temporarily suspended.
The repair works will begin on 15 June 2026 and will continue until November 2027. During this period, buses from Ukraine to Poland will not be able to cross the border via the Shehyni–Medyka checkpoint.
At the same time, buses travelling from Poland to Ukraine through this checkpoint will be processed as normal.
To cross the state border when leaving Ukraine for Poland, passengers and carriers must use other checkpoints on the Ukrainian–Polish border.
Carriers are asked to take this information into account when planning routes and to inform passengers of the changes in advance.
