The hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region is changing due to precipitation.
As of 08:00 on June 3, 2025, according to the hydrometeorological network, the territory of the Lviv region received from 0.3 to 8 mm of precipitation per day. The water levels in the rivers of the region mostly decreased by 1 to 24 cm, with slight increases observed only in certain sections, ranging from 1 to 5 cm, in places up to 14 cm, particularly on the Dniester River in the village of Zhuravno and the Western Bug in the city of Kamianka-Buzka.
The water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 6.6 to 15.0 degrees, while in other rivers of the region it ranged from 15.0 to 20.0 degrees.
“Due to expected local precipitation in the second half of the day on June 3 and throughout June 4, rapid increases in water levels are possible on certain rivers in the Dniester basin,” reads the consultation on the change in the hydrological situation. A slight decrease in water levels will be observed on the rest of the region’s rivers.
