According to the hydrometeorological network, over the past 24 hours between 0 and 6 mm of precipitation fell in places across Lviv region. On the rivers of the Dniester basin, water levels varied within 1–4 cm, mostly with a downward trend.
On the lowland rivers of the San and Western Bug basins, minor rises in water levels of 1–7 cm have been recorded. At the hydrological post on the Dniester River near the settlement of Rozdil, the water level remains at the minimum mark for the entire multi-year observation period.
Water temperature on the mountain rivers of the Dniester basin mostly ranged from 8.9 to 13.0 °C, and on other rivers in the region from 14.0 to 19.0 °C.
The advisory on the further development of the hydrological situation notes that in the second half of 4 June, due to expected local precipitation, rapid increases in water levels are possible on some mountain and foothill tributaries of the Dniester. On the rest of the rivers in the region, minor fluctuations in levels are expected to continue, mainly with a downward trend.
