
As of November 25, 2025, the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region remains stable.
According to the hydrometeorological network, the Lviv region received 0.2 to 2 mm of precipitation over the day. On the rivers of the Dniester basin, slight fluctuations in water levels were observed within 1 – 10 cm, with a predominance of decline. On the flatland rivers of the Sian and Western Bug basins, water levels continued to rise by 1 – 4 cm, locally up to 10 cm (GP Poltva River – Buzk city) over the day.
Water temperature on the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 0.2 – 2.2°, and on other rivers from 1.8 – 5.0°. The snow cover height in the region is decreasing, measuring 2 – 10 cm, in Lviv city – 8 cm; at meteorological platforms in the mountainous part, respectively, 15 and 6 cm – M Turka and M Slavske.
In the next day, due to expected precipitation and snowmelt, gradual water level rises from 0.1 – 0.6 m above the levels of 25.11.2025 at 08:00 a.m. will be observed on most rivers of the Dniester basin, without negative consequences. On the rest of the region’s rivers, minor increases in water levels will prevail.
