In the past day, water levels in the region’s rivers fluctuated from -5 to +8 cm. In the area of HP River Styr – village Shchurovychi, a 20 cm rise in water level was noted over the day. Most rivers remain covered with ice.
As of 08:00 on January 18, 2026, the snow cover height at weather station meteorological sites in the Lviv region ranges from 13 to 32 cm, and in the mountainous part of the region, it is 21 to 27 cm. During the next day, fluctuations in water levels with a predominance of decline are expected.
