Hydrological Situation on the Rivers of Lviv Region: Status as of August 19

A summer low flow with minor water level fluctuations is observed on the rivers of the Lviv region.

In the past day, a summer low flow was maintained on the rivers of the region, with water levels fluctuating from -3 to +4 cm. **Water levels on some tributaries of the Dniester** continued to approach their minimum historical values. According to the observer, the water level at the GP on the Dniester River – Rozdil reached the minimum value observed in 2020. Near the GP on the Stryi River – Matkiv, the water level remains unchanged.

The water temperature on the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was 9.2 – 15.0°, while on the rest of the region’s rivers, it was 16.0 – 21.0°. There is slight vegetation near the banks at some hydroposts.

The next day, a summer low flow will persist on the rivers of the region, with a prevalence of water level decline.
