On February 1, at 16:22, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the village of Luky, Sambir district, on the highway “Lviv-Sambir-Uzhhorod”, an OPEL VIVARO and a Mitsubishi L-200 collided.
Rescuers from Sambir and Rudky were sent to the scene.
When the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver, a man born in 1960, was trapped in the OPEL VIVARO. Using hydraulic scissors and a clamp, the rescuers unclamped the deformed car structure, unblocked the man and handed him over to medics. After examination, doctors hospitalized the victim in serious condition to the Sambir Central District Hospital.
The SES engaged 7 personnel members and 2 units of special equipment to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
