Stryi district: professional firefighters, together with employees of the local fire brigade, saved three buildings from the fire
On March 19, at 21:59, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Bilche on St. Peace of Stryi district. The fire started in a one-story brick garage, measuring 7×10 m.
Professional rescuers from Mykolaiv, Novy Rozil and the local fire brigade from Bilche went to the scene.
When firefighters arrived at the scene of the call, the garage was completely engulfed in flames, and there was a threat of the fire spreading to nearby buildings.
At 23:15 on March 19, firefighters localized the fire and at 00:02 on March 20, it was extinguished.
As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed the roof of the garage and things inside on an area of 70 square meters.
The rescuers managed to prevent the spread of the fire and save three nearby buildings from the fire.
8 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
