Stryi district: firefighters save a KAMAZ truck and 5 tonnes of grain from destruction by fire
On 27 June, at 15:33, the Rescue Service 101 received a report of a fire in the village of Krynytsia, Stryi district, on the Pisochna-Skhidnytsia road, in a KAMAZ truck.
As it turned out at the scene, the driver of the car noticed thick black smoke coming out from under the hood, after which he immediately stopped and called the fire and rescue service.
At 16:04, the firefighters contained the fire and extinguished it at 16:22. The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading rapidly and save the car and 5 tonnes of grain it was carrying from total destruction.
Three firefighters and one unit of special equipment were involved in the firefighting operations.
