Queues at the Ukrainian-Polish border: where there are fewer cars

There is currently a build-up of vehicles at the Ukrainian-Polish border on exit from Ukraine. Drivers are advised to take the situation into account when planning their journeys.

As of now, queues on exit from Ukraine are being recorded at the following crossing points:

  • “Ustyluh” – 130 cars;
  • “Uhryniv” – 70 cars;
  • “Rava-Ruska” – 30 cars;
  • “Hrushiv” – 45 cars;
  • “Krakivets” – 35 passenger cars, 2 buses;
  • “Shehyni” – 35 cars, 1 bus;
  • “Nyzhankovychi” – 10 cars.

On entry into Ukraine, there is a queue at the “Nyzhankovychi” crossing point – around 20 cars.

At present, the least busy crossing point for exiting Ukraine is “Smilnytsia”.

To reduce waiting times before the crossing points, citizens are advised to choose less busy routes and to plan to cross the border in the early morning or late evening hours. Up-to-date information on the workload of the crossing points can be monitored on the Facebook pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
