During the night of 7 to 8 October on Knyahyni Olhy Street in Lviv, near the terminus of tram No. 3, the replacement of a track switch is planned. The main dismantling and installation works will be carried out overnight by employees of LKP «Lvivelektrotrans» so as not to interrupt the movement of electric transport.
After the night works, on the morning of 8 October tram No. 3 will be back in service and will run to its usual timetable. During the day, cobblestones will also be reinstated in the space between the tracks on this section.
Due to the improvement of the carriageway, occasional traffic disruptions are possible for private vehicles and bus routes No. 41, No. 45 and No. 51. The company notes that these works are important for the safe and stable operation of the tram infrastructure and asks drivers, where possible, to choose alternative routes.
LKP «Lvivelektrotrans» stresses that passengers can track the movement of urban electric transport in real time using the company’s online map.
