There is currently significant congestion at two checkpoints on Ukraine’s state border for entry into the country. This concerns the “Krakivets” and “Shehyni” directions, where queues of cars and buses have formed.
At present, 50 cars and 10 buses are waiting to enter Ukraine at the Krakivets checkpoint. At the Shehyni checkpoint, there are 50 cars and 12 buses in the queue.
At the same time, the checkpoints “Uhryniv”, “Rava-Ruska”, “Hrushiv”, “Smilnytsia” and “Nyzhankovychi” remain less busy for entry into Ukraine. No build-up of cars has been recorded on exit from Ukraine.
In bus traffic on exit from Ukraine, 5 buses are currently waiting at the Krakivets checkpoint and 1 bus at the Nyzhankovychi checkpoint.
Border guards advise drivers planning to cross the border to choose less congested routes and, where possible, to schedule their journeys for early morning or late evening hours.
