On April 3, 2023, students of the Movement of Young Rescuers of the Yavoriv Gymnasium named after Osyp Makovey of the Yavoriv City Council visited the rescuers of the 23rd State Fire and Rescue Department of the city of Yavoriv.
During the tour of the part, the children were shown the basic fire-rescue equipment and equipment used to eliminate emergency situations of various nature. In order for the children to better understand the profession of a rescuer, or rather feel it, the children were given the opportunity to try on the special clothes of a rescuer.
Also, the rescuers talked about the dangers of children’s pranks with fire, fires and their causes, children’s independent visits to local ponds, abandoned buildings, etc.
The purpose of such measures, first of all, is the prevention of injury and death of children in fires, in everyday life during the holidays, on water bodies in the summer, teaching the rules of behavior in emergency situations and the ability to find the right solutions for a safe exit from these situations.
