On 20 July, at 11:45 a.m., divers of the emergency rescue manoeuvre team recovered the body of a local resident, Mr D., born in 2002, from a lake in the village of Muzhylovychi, Yavoriv district.
According to the Lviv Oblast Rescue and Diving Service, on 19 July at about 19:00, the man was swimming on an air mattress at a distance of 30 metres from the shore and fell into the water.
The body was recovered from a depth of 3-4 metres and handed over to police.
As a reminder, as of 15 July 2024, 28 people, including 3 children, have already died in the water bodies of Lviv region since the beginning of the year.
