On October 25, at 08:50, the Rescue Service “101” received a message that in the village Konochnechne Druge of the Yavoriv district on the M-10 highway, a collision between a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and an Opel Vectra took place, as a result of which there are injured people who need help.
This was reported in the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of the Lviv Region.
Rescuers from Yavoriv and Horodok went to the scene.
As it turned out at the scene, the driver of the Opel Vectra, a woman born in 1996, was trapped as a result of the accident.
With the help of a hydraulic press and a gas cutter, the rescuers unblocked the victim and handed her over to medics. Medics hospitalized the injured woman in a serious condition at the Novoyavorivsk District Hospital.
8 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the traffic accident.
