The day before, on January 12, at 11:17 p.m., the rescuers received a report about a fire on the territory of a private farm in the city of Yavoriv.
The alarm about the fire was raised by a neighbor who saw the fire in the neighbor’s yard. The fire department of the city went to the scene.
As it turned out, the generator was on fire. The owners of this private farm installed the generator almost next to their residential building. There was a threat of the flames spreading to the house.
Important: The rescuers of the Lviv Region reported on the safety rules when working with electric generators.
Thanks to the timely involvement of forces and means, it was possible to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent further spread of the fire.
At 11:37 p.m., firefighters localized the fire and extinguished it at 11:48 p.m. However, the fire managed to destroy the generator completely. The reasons and circumstances are established.
