Zolochiv district: professional firefighters together with the local fire brigade extinguished a fire in a residential building
On 08 July at 00:02, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Leshniv, Zolochiv district. The fire broke out in a 10×10 m foam block residential building covered with a metal profile.
Rescuers from the 10th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Brody and the local fire brigade of Komarivka village were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was completely engulfed in flames.
Due to the heavy smoke, the rescuers had to work in special respiratory and eye protection devices.
At 04:18, the firefighters localised the fire and extinguished it at 04:55.
Four rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment from the State Emergency Service and 3 men and 1 unit of special equipment from the local fire brigade were involved in the firefighting.
