Skolivskyi Beskydy”.
Tourist route number 13 is the route “To Lopata Mountain” 12 km south of Skole, which conquers the peak with a height of 1210.9 meters on the Zelemyanka ridge.
Lopata Mountain is a peak with history, a cross dedicated to the memory of the UPA fighters is placed on it, because it was here in the summer of 1944 that battles took place between the UPA and the combined German-Hungarian troops. The battle took place for ten days (from July 6 to 16, 1944) and consisted of several clashes, namely on Mount Lopata, near the town of Skole and in the Black Forest.
