Nighttime bad weather left residents of 58 settlements of Lviv region without electricity

Energy workers restore electricity supply to settlements that were cut off by a thunderstorm with gusts of wind at night on August 14

As of 08:00 a.m., as a result of the natural disaster in Lviv Oblast, 28 settlements were completely without electricity, and 30 partially in:

  • Central REM (Peremyshlyansk, Pustomytivsk, Zhydachivsk, Mykolaiv parts);
  • Southern REM (Stryya district);
  • Carpathian Rem (Sambir district);
  • Northern Rem (Radekhivska, Chervonohrad-Sokal district);
  • Western REM (Yavorivska district);
  • LMEM (Pustomytivska, Zhovkivska district).

In Lvivoblenergo, people are reminded: do not get closer to the place of a broken power line wire at a distance of less than 8 meters, because otherwise you can get a fatal electric shock.

You need to leave the dangerous zone with a “goose step” – bring your feet together, do not separate them from each other and from the ground, and move with small steps.

If you see damaged power lines, report the situation by calling 0-800-30-15-68 (24/7, free of charge) or other call center numbers: 067-333-15-68, 050-460-15-68, 093 -170-15-68, (032) 290-75-68.

You can also leave a message on the “Lvivoblenergo Hotline” page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lvivoblenergo.hotline
