As of 08:00 on 21 June 2026, a slight fall in water levels of up to 5 cm over the past 24 hours was generally observed on the rivers of Lviv Region.
In the area of the hydrological post on the Dniester River near the settlement of Rozdil, the water level decreased by 4 cm over the day and reached its minimum value for the entire multi-year observation period, standing at 90 cm above the gauge zero.
The water temperature in the mountain rivers of the Dniester basin ranged between 12.0–18.0°, and on other rivers in the region from 18.0–23.0°.
According to the hydrological forecast, a calm situation will persist on water bodies over the next 24 hours due to the hot weather: on most rivers a slight fall in water levels will continue, while on others a typical, little-changed low summer flow situation will remain, with a gradual decrease in discharge. On some mountain tributaries of the Dniester, water levels will approach their minimum multi-year values.
