This year, for the first time, Ukrainians will celebrate St. Nicholas’ Day according to the new church calendar – December 6. St. Nicholas Day is an extraordinary holiday of joy, love, goodness, warmth and wish fulfillment, which is eagerly awaited by both children and adults. This holiday was no less anxiously awaited in the Naguevitsa special boarding school, where children with reduced vision are educated.
So, on December 4, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the deputy mayor of Drohobych for social and humanitarian relations Yuriy Kushlyk and the head of the district Lesya Grom handed over gifts from the Miracle Worker – board games and products to children.
On St. Nicholas Day, children expect gifts. Adults on this day have the opportunity to perform a miracle that will delight children and make their lives more interesting. We hope that the games will become an interesting and developing activity for them in their free time from studying, – noted Yuriy Kushlyk.
