On November 27, at 00:09, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Lviv on the street Fedkovych. The fire started in the basement of a three-story residential building.
Rescuers from the 2nd state fire and rescue unit of Lviv went to the scene.
Due to heavy smoke, the firefighters had to work in special respiratory and eye protection devices.
During the reconnaissance of the smoky basement, the rescuers found a dead man.
At 00:32, firefighters localized the fire and extinguished it at 00:51. As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed the garbage in the basement on an area of 4 square meters. 8 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
