Fire in Stryi Claims Man’s Life
This morning at 09:22, a report was received about a fire in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story residential building on 116 Hrabovetska St. in Stryi.
Details of the Incident
Upon the firefighters’ arrival, the apartment was filled with toxic combustion products. During the extinguishing, the body of the 57-year-old owner was found on a bed in the room.
- Firefighters localized the fire at 09:36 and extinguished it by 09:40.
- A mattress and household items were burned over an area of 4 square meters.
- 12 rescuers and 2 units of special equipment were involved in the fire extinguishment.
