Rescuers save rabbits during firefighting
On August 2, at 10:26 a.m., rescuers received a report of a fire in the village of Pochikhvosty on Nezalezhnosti Street, Lviv district.
A brick outbuilding was on fire.
Rescuers from the 18th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Kamianka-Buzka and the local fire brigade of Velyke Kolodne village were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived, the building was already fully engulfed in flames. Despite the difficult situation, the rescuers managed to save 8 rabbits inside.
At 11:01, the fire was localized, and at 11:26 it was completely eliminated.
The fire destroyed the roof and wooden ceiling of the outbuilding, household items over an area of 20 square meters, and a VAZ 21099 car.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.
Five rescuers and two units of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the fire.
