The cold, like the enemy, does not spare our soldiers at the front. An enterprise in Strya – a manufacturer of drilling equipment – joined the necessary assistance in providing military heating equipment.
Since 2014, LLC “Discovery – drilling equipment” has produced approximately 500 field stoves for defenders. The military called them “legendary” for their convenience and reliability in use.
“The peculiarity of furnaces is that they are made of thick-walled metal 6-8 mm thick. On this mobile energy and heat accumulator, the surface of which is horizontal, fighters can not only warm themselves in dugouts and trenches, dry clothes, but also cook food,” said Lilia Voitanovska, general director of Discovery – Drilling Equipment LLC.
After a full-scale invasion, the company decided to continue making “heat” for the defenders.
The Stryi city council decided to allocate 390 thousand hryvnias for the purchase of metal and pipes for stoves. Thanks to this financial support, the enterprise has already produced 80 field stoves for the Stryi battalion of the Red Army, which were sent to the front line.
