Two women kissed in the Church of St. Andrew in Lviv, where Serhiy Zhadan’s music video for Khrystyna Solova’s song “Heart” was filmed.
One of the women, Alina Shubska, published the photo with a kiss on her Facebook page.
“Because God is love!” she wrote.
Later, the head of the “Ukrainian LGBT-Military for Equal Rights” Viktor Pylypenko posted a video on his Facebook where he kisses a man near the same church.
“We call on all gay couples to come to St. Andrew’s Church and kiss – in this way to remind those who conduct their ceremonies there that they do not have the power to condemn and punish for love,” Viktor wrote
