Due to thawing and precipitation, an increase in water levels is expected on the rivers of the Dniester basin.
During February 06 – 08, a gradual increase in water levels by 0.2 – 0.7 m above the levels as of 08:00 on February 05 is expected on the rivers of the Dniester basin in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This increase will not have negative consequences.
There will be weakened and destroyed ice phenomena on the rivers. Ice drift is possible in some places, which may lead to the formation of ice jams with sharp fluctuations in water levels.
