The Lviv Regional Center of Hydrometeorology of Ukraine warns of hazardous weather conditions.
On February 23, the Lviv region is expected to experience wind gusts with speeds of 15-20 m/s, shifting from a southwesterly to a westerly direction. Icy conditions are possible on the roads.
“Stay away from dangerous structures: avoid being near large trees, billboards, power lines, and unstable structures during strong winds,” experts advise.
Drivers are recommended to maintain distance and avoid sudden maneuvers. Pedestrians should cross roads only at designated areas, remembering that braking distance for vehicles increases significantly on ice.
