This morning, a fire occurred in the village of Andriyivka in the Zolochiv district, which destroyed a garage and a car.
At 08:52, the Rescue Service received a report about the ignition of a wooden garage, inside which was a car. The local fire brigade from the village of Bortkiv and the fire department from Busk arrived at the scene.
The flames spread quickly, and by the time firefighters arrived, the garage was completely engulfed in fire. The fire was accompanied by heavy smoke, posing a threat of the flames spreading to a nearby residential building and a utility structure.
Rescuers managed to localize the fire at 09:26 and extinguish it by 09:34. However, the fire had already destroyed the garage and the Peugeot 5008 car.
A total of 5 rescuers and 1 unit of the State Emergency Service’s equipment, along with 2 workers and 1 unit of equipment from the local fire brigade, worked at the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Specialists are investigating the causes and circumstances of the fire.
