In the village of Slavske in Stryi district, a fire broke out in a two-storey shop building. This occurred on 1st May at 17:07. The blaze engulfed the attic and the roof over an area of 200 sq. m.
Firefighters from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region managed to localise the blaze by 19:59, and fully extinguish it by 20:53. Twenty-two rescuers and four units of specialised equipment were deployed to the scene.
Thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, the shop building was saved. There were no casualties among the people.
