
On August 29, a fire broke out in a residential building in the city of Radekhiv.
At 9:50 PM, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire on Lesi Ukrainky Street. The fire started in an apartment on the second floor of a two-story building. Upon the arrival of the rescuers, flames were bursting out of the windows. Due to heavy smoke, firefighters worked in special breathing and sight protection devices. Information from residents indicated that there might be people inside. After reconnaissance, this information was not confirmed – there were no people in the apartment.
At 10:02 PM, the fire was localized, and at 10:07 PM, it was extinguished. The firefighting effort involved 3 rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment.
