For 17 June, predominantly moderate (class 3) and low (class 2) levels of fire danger are forecast across the region. In the mountain areas, there is no fire danger (class 1).
At the same time, in the north of the area, high (class 4) and extreme (class 5) fire danger is expected in places. Under such conditions, the weather will generally be conducive to a low likelihood of the occurrence and spread of fires in ecosystems; however, where ignition sources are present, particularly open flames, the risks remain.
