Starting September 20, bus traffic through the Ukrainian-Polish Shehyni — Medyka border crossing will be temporarily suspended. The restrictions are linked to repair works scheduled to begin on the Polish side of the border.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, passenger buses travelling from Ukraine to Poland will be redirected to other road border crossings while the construction work is underway.
Bus routes will be redirected through:
- Smilnytsia — Krościenko;
- Nyzhankovychi — Malhowice;
- Krakivets — Korczowa.
According to preliminary information, restrictions on bus traffic through the Shehyni — Medyka crossing may remain in force until November 2027.
