Rescuers in Lviv region twice helped ambulances get out of snow drifts.
Due to the complication of weather conditions caused by blizzards and snow drifts, rescuers in Lviv region twice assisted ambulance crews that could not independently continue their journey to the locations of the calls. On January 9 at 16:35, a report was received that between the villages of Sebechiv and Murovane, Sheptytskyi district, an ambulance Volkswagen Crafter was stuck in a snow drift. The vehicle was heading to a call and required towing due to difficult weather conditions. Rescuers escorted the vehicle to a safer section of the road.
On January 10 at 03:12, rescuers received a similar report near the village of Hai-Ditkovetski, Zolochiv district. An ambulance Peugeot Boxer was stuck in a snow drift. The vehicle was on its way to a call and needed assistance. The fire-rescue unit towed the vehicle with a rope and escorted it to the designated location.
