From December 24 to 27, the appearance of initial ice phenomena is forecasted on the rivers of the Sian, Dniester, and Western Bug basins. This concerns the regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, and Volyn. “The formation of shore ice and slush is expected,” meteorologists report. Changes in the hydrological situation may affect navigation and fishing safety.
