Schools, kindergartens, hospitals in Lviv can receive heat: they send letters of appeal to Lvivteploenergo
According to Orest Tymchyshyn, Director of the Department of Housing and Infrastructure at Lviv City Council, all public institutions in Lviv – schools, kindergartens, hospitals and clinics, and other publicly funded institutions – can receive heating on the basis of letters of application sent to Lvivteploenergo.
As of this morning, 5 institutions – 4 hospitals and a greenhouse – were receiving heating.
“Our heat supply company Lvivteploenergo is ready to supply heating to all budgetary institutions that send the relevant requests.
Thus, based on such requests, heating has been supplied since last week to the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital at 7 Chernihivska Street, the greenhouse at 71 Pekarska Street, St. Anne’s Hospital at 8 Mechnikova Street, the Lviv Regional Phthisiopulmonary Clinical Treatment and Diagnostic Centre at 477 Zelena Street and the Lviv Regional Oncological Treatment and Diagnostic Centre at 2a Gashek Street.
As for the supply of heating to residential buildings, we are ready to supply heat to the population, but for this, the average daily temperature must be below 8 degrees for three days. However, today there are still about a hundred buildings that have not yet signed the winterisation certificates. Most of them are condominiums and housing cooperatives. Therefore, we are once again asking them to speed up and complete the paperwork as soon as possible so that the heating company has a basis to supply heat to the houses,” said Orest Tymchyshyn.
