Water Levels in Lviv Region Rivers Continue to Decline

Further decline in water levels is observed in the rivers of Lviv region.

As of 08:00 on August 8, 2025, water levels in the region’s rivers have dropped to 8 cm. On certain tributaries of the Dniester, water levels are approaching minimum long-term values, particularly in the Dniester River at Strelki village and the Stryi River at Matkiv village. Water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 10.0 to 15.0°, and in other rivers of the region from 16.0 to 20.0°.

It is forecasted that over the next two days, water levels in the region’s rivers will continue to decrease. On certain mountain tributaries of the Dniester, water levels will remain close to minimum long-term values.
