With the start of the summer season, passenger traffic through the checkpoints of the Lviv region has increased by 40%.
Currently, car accumulation is recorded at the following checkpoints: Shehyni – 85 vehicles, Krakivets – 55 vehicles, Nyzankovychi – 20 vehicles. Smooth operation is noted at: Smilnytsia, Rava-Ruska, Hrushev, and Uhryniv.
Border guards of the 7th Border Carpathian Detachment have intensified their work, particularly increasing the number of border patrols during peak hours. Repair work is ongoing at the ‘Shehyni’ checkpoint on the Ukrainian side, which temporarily reduces throughput capacity.
