Today, thunderstorms and possible hail are expected in the Lviv region.
According to the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Center, on July 20, thunderstorms are expected in some areas, with possible hail during the day with a diameter of 6–19 mm. Rescuers urge residents to be cautious and follow safety rules: if possible, stay at home and avoid being outside unnecessarily. Avoid trees, billboards, poles, and power lines — all of these can be dangerous during a thunderstorm. Stay away from bodies of water. Do not take shelter under trees during rain, as lightning often strikes there. Do not park cars under trees, old structures, or billboards.
