As of 08:00 on January 25, 2025, hydrological monitoring in Lviv region shows that over the past 24 hours, precipitation has ranged from 0 to 3 millimeters. This has caused slight fluctuations in water levels in the region’s rivers, varying between 1 – 5 centimeters, with a trend towards increase.
Water temperatures in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 0.5 to 2.5 degrees Celsius, while in other rivers of the region, temperatures ranged from 1 to 4 degrees.
Due to the snowmelt processes, an increase in water levels is expected in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester over the next day; however, this will not have negative consequences. Other rivers in the region are also expected to see rising water levels.
