Stability of Power Supply in Lviv Region

The power supply situation in the Lviv region is currently stable and under control.

This was reported by the Technical Director of PJSC ‘Lvivoblenergo’ Roman Ivantsiv today during a briefing at the Lviv Regional State Administration. According to him, there is a general power capacity balance in Ukraine, formed by NEC ‘Ukrenergo’, according to which hourly outage schedules are introduced.

‘Currently, there is one queue of hourly outage schedules in operation in the Lviv region. By the end of the day, we anticipate the possibility of its cancellation, but everything depends on the overall situation in the power system. If needed, other queues may be additionally introduced,’ said Roman Ivantsiv.

He also noted that on certain days, special schedules were applied for specific power nodes in the region. In particular, the Sheptytsky district operated under a separate power supply regime.
