In the Chervonograd district, law enforcement officers searched for a mushroom picker who got lost in the forest

The search operation lasted all night. The situation was complicated by strong wind and rain – the 81-year-old man had to be found as soon as possible.

On October 27, around 7:00 p.m., the police received a report that an 81-year-old resident of the city of Chervonograd got lost in the forest. According to his wife, the man went to the forest to collect mushrooms and could not find his way home. At first, he called the woman from a mobile phone, but then the connection was lost – then she turned to the police for help.

Employees of various departments of the Chervonohrad district police department, specially appointed KORD of the police of Lviv region, rescuers and military personnel were involved in the search for the mushroom picker.

The law enforcement officers, together with the soldiers, “combed” the forest all night, used a quadcopter, and in the morning they did find a mushroom picker in the forest at a distance of about five kilometers from Chervonograd.
The man was exhausted, but there is no threat to his life or health.
