On January 3, at 22:21, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Dobromil on the street. Halytska, 67, Sambir district. The fire started in a brick garage measuring 10×10 m.
Firefighters from the cities of Dobromyl and Staryy Sambir, as well as the local fire brigade from the village of Komarovichi.
The complexity of the fire was the large burning area. The fire quickly spread in the middle of the garage and caused dense smoke, as in this room, among other things, firewood and car wheels were stored.
Also, the situation was complicated by the fact that there was a residential building almost sheltering from the burning garage and there was a threat of the fire spreading to the building.
However, thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the rescuers, it was possible to localize the fire and prevent further spread of the fire. So, the fire was localized at 23:40 and eliminated at 00:55 as part of 2 units of the gas and smoke protection service. As a result of the fire, the covering on an area of 100 square meters and household items on an area of 50 square meters were destroyed by fire.
11 personnel and 3 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
