Why Is This Important?
A case of rabies was recently reported in a stray cat in Dublyany. To prevent further outbreaks, the community has implemented a prevention plan, including free vaccinations for pets.
Rabies is a severe infectious disease affecting the central nervous system, and it is always fatal. Annual preventive vaccination is the only effective protection.
Campaign Achievements So Far
Free vaccination campaigns have already been conducted in Pidbirtsi, Lysynychi, Bryukhovychi, Rudne, and Lviv, immunizing about 350 animals, including wild ones, as part of the autumn immunization campaign.
Residents of Dublyany are encouraged to take this opportunity to protect their pets from this life-threatening disease.
