In the Lviv district, two pedestrians were injured as a result of a car collision – the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
This was reported in the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
The traffic accident occurred on January 2, around 7:40 a.m., on the Lviv-Sheghini highway in the town of Horodok, Lviv district.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Volkswagen Bora car, a 49-year-old resident of the Lviv district, ran over residents of one of the villages of the district – a 38-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrians were injured and taken to a medical facility.
